The Nordik Oak Bench was designed to match ourNordik Dining Table Collectionoffering a contemporary yet practical solution to your dining needs by seating 2-3 people.Crafted from solid white American Oak the bench sits between the legs of the Nordik Dining Table and able to be tucked in.Pictured withtheNordikDining Table.

The Timber

Wood displays different grain patterns depending on which way they are cut – for example, the ‘medullary ray’ which can appear on oak furniture is a mark of good quality timber,these are just characteristics of the natural beauty of the wood. Wood veneers also allow distinctive patterns to be created on some surfaces, such as table tops and drawer fronts by the way slivers are arranged. All timber and veneer surfaces will change colour and mellow over time. New furniture will initially vary in shade from items that have been previously purchased.

• Like anything Ill need a bit of re-tightening from time to time so pleasecheck my nuts & bolts at assemblypoints periodically
• I can be sensitive to hot and cold itemsyou might place on me so please usecoasters and placemats with your cupof tea or frozen Margarita
• When writing letters and penningmemoirs, it is best to use a mat, so notto dent your furniture
• Give me a regular dust down in thedirection of my grain. I love this butprobably wont tell you as Im furnitureand have yet to master the art of conversation
• Ouch! Please please dont use any acetone, solvents, bleach or siliconebased products on me, I have a protectve coating that may react to these
• Keep my good looks and dont putme in direct sunlight or near direct heatsources eg: radiators, AC Units or openfires
• Ew dont put anything damp inside me,Im wood and I will warp
• Best not overfill my drawers either, thiscan cause jamming and not of the coolReggae kind
• Keep your heavy items, such asSchwarzenegger home dumbell setsand gold bullion out of my drawers asoverweight items can cause damage tomy frame
