Mauviel MElite pans outperform standard stainless steel pans by miles because of the way they are designed. With outer layers of 18/10 stainless steel, which make them induction-compatible, plus three inner layers of heat-responsive aluminium, they distribute heat quickly and evenly. The middle layer of that aluminium is pure, meaning there is no adhesive agent in it that slightly weakens their power. High-quality, scratch-resistant steel thats polished on the outside but brushed on the inside makes clean-up simple, and curved rims allow easy pouring. These pans will last a lifetime, guaranteed. M’Elite is a special range from Mauviel that has a hand-hammered finish for beautiful presentation on the table. This curved splayed saute pan includes a domed stainless steel lid. Mauviel MElite pans, including handles, are polished and finished by hand; this may result in minor abrasions or scuffs. These are considered normal and do not have any impact on performance or durability.

While MElite pans are dishwasher-safe, please note that dishwasher detergents that contain harsh chemicals such as potassium are abrasive to the aluminium edge on the rims of these pans. This can cause the edge to feel sharp over time but does not affect performance.
