Made fromlutindzi, a fibrous grass that is sustainable by default as the roots do not need to be cut, this hand-wovencoaster setmakes a beautiful addition to any table or countertop. Due to its strong, waxy finish,these 10cm coasters, the container, and other items made fromlutindzi are waterproof and stain-resistant. To clean, all you have to do is wipe it down with a damp cloth and, for tougher stuck-on bits, brush off with a toothbrush or small cleaning brush. Every Gone Rural item is made in Swaziland by the company’s network of local women artisans, who usenative hand-weaving techniques passed down through generations.
