—DETAILS—
Located in a small workshop under an archway in South London, Blenheim Forge is a jewel in Britains culinary landscape, beloved by chefs like Gordon Ramsey and Francis Mallmann. We collaborated on a collection of knives made with a core Japanese super blue carbon steelknown for its long-lasting durability and unparalleled sharpnessclad with rust-proof stainless steel until the edge of the blade for easier maintenance. It is notoriously difficult to forge super blue carbon steel, but Blenheim Forge has mastered it with their skill and attention to detail. Every knife has a comfortable, six-sided walnut handle that feels stable to hold and provides balance, attached with a beautiful copper ferrule. The wood is sustainably sourced from fallen trees in the M25 area by an enterprise that teaches joinery and furniture making to unemployed youth.
This 18cm santoku, which refers to three key tasks in food prepslicing, dicing and mincingwill become the most used in your kitchen. The thin, sharp blade takes the strain off your wrist and ensures neat, precise cuts.
—BENEFITS— Anytime chefs walk into one of our stores, they beeline for these knives. It has what they love about carbon steelthe extremely fine cuts, how easy it is to sharpenbut requires less fuss.
