Made in Holland from recycled wood fibre, our Borough Kitchen Carving Board is designed to withstand a lifetime of daily use. The smooth, non-porous surface allows for resistance to deep knife grooves, where bacteria and odours can flourish, as well as ease of cleaning. It also makes the board very easy to clean, by hand or in the dishwasher. Since the material is heat-safe up to 167C, you can place hot pans on the surface when needed. This carving board has a recessed border on one side for collecting juice when carving meat, chopping tomatoes, or any other food prep that releases liquids. The other side can be used like a regular cutting board.
