Made entirely by hand in Italys Emilia-Romagna region, this cylindrical vase from Bertozzi is made of Limoges porcelain, considered the finest in the world. Its unique mix of kaolin, feldspar and quartz allows it to be fired at extremely high temperatures for durability and a luminous glaze associated with royal china. The outside of this vase has been block printed onto the porcelain before being fired and hand-painted using a century-old secret recipe from founder Luigi Bertozzi. The paint recipe mixes flour, vinegar, and rusted iron to create a distinguished palette that cannot be replicated. As this piece is completely unique, slight variations in shape and colour are part of its charm. It is dishwasher-safe.
