This Deep Serving Bowl inOrage &Cream is fromJar’s Tourron collection. All components of their beautiful stoneware are carefully selected and totally natural. In consideration of the environment, they developed a unique firing process to save energy by firing only once, rather than the standard 3 times, at 1285C. This extremely high heat makes the ceramics very robust. The pieces do not chip, keep their originalvivid colours and have been tested to be microwave and dishwasher-safe. This multipurpose serving bowl features a matteexterior and a glazed interior which gives it both an organic and contemporary feel.

The bowl can be preheated in a low oven (max 150C) from room temperature. Over 200C, the glaze starts to open and may let colours of cooked foods in, making it impossible to remove. This problem only occurs when roasting with oil.
