Shawarma Seasoning

We make it so easy to serve this incredibly tasty and flavorful Middle Eastern dish at home. Our blend of seasonings simplifies the process to prepare and marinate an assortment of meats. The blend features cinnamon and turmeric amongst many other spices.

Makes 8 servings. 22 g (0.7 oz)

Storage should be in cool (< 21 C or 70 F), dry (< 60% r.h.) area to provide a maximum shelf life without appreciable loss of flavor or functional characteristics.

All you need:
– Shawarma Seasoning (included)
– 8 chicken breasts, cut in half
– 125 ml ( cup) plain yogurt
– lemon, juiced
– 45 ml (3 tbsp) olive oil

All you do:
In a large bowl, combine the Shawarma Seasoning, yogurt, lemon juice and olive oil. Mix well. Add the chicken and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours, or overnight. Preheat the oven to 450F (230C). Place the chicken on a lined baking sheet and bake for 30-35 minutes, until cooked through. To serve as a wrap, place sliced chicken on a warm pita, top with hummus, garlic sauce (our Roasted Garlic Dip works great), lettuce, tomato and onion to your liking and enjoy!
